Call for Applicants
Al-Harah Theater in collaboration with Holy Land Trust open the call to theater groups and companies to participate in the 5th edition of Palestine International Theater Festival for Children, which will be held between October 2nd and October 8th, 2026 in Bethlehem, Palestine.
After a forced postponement due to the ongoing war on Gaza and the escalating discriminatory and violent practices of the Israeli occupation across Palestine, the festival returns with renewed commitment to creating spaces for children to express, imagine, and resist through art.
Local and international theater groups are invited to apply by filling out the online application form via the following link:

Application deadline: April 30th, 2026
• 10 theater groups will be selected by the festival artistic committee.
• The submitted performance must have been produced within the past two years (2023–2025).
• Plays with minimal technical requirements and limited text are encouraged.
• Applicants must submit the application form along with a full video of the performance and high-quality photos.
• Applicants are responsible for covering their travel costs to Palestine.
• Applicants are responsible for shipping costs of sets and props.
• A maximum of 5 participants per group is allowed.
• Each performance will be presented twice per day at the same venue in Bethlehem.
• The festival offers a fee of 300 USD per performance (600 USD for two performances).
• The festival provides accommodation and meals for participating groups for a maximum of 5 days.
• Airport transfers for international groups (arrival and departure) are provided.
• Local transportation to Bethlehem is provided for local groups.
• Daily transportation between the hotel and venues is provided for all participants.
• The festival ensures wide media coverage including social media, press, radio, and television.
Selected groups will be notified by email no later than May 15th, 2026.
