“Kershak Al-Abyad”

This play addresses the issue of domestic violence, focusing on hidden forms of violence between spouses, highlighting the story of the couple Rashid and Amina. The work explores the impact of current circumstances, including the ongoing aggression against our people by the occupation and the deteriorating economic situation in the West Bank, on our social lives and marital relationships.
The play touches upon the repercussions of rising unemployment and lack of job opportunities, leading to difficulties in securing basic life needs and financial obligations. It highlights how these conditions lead to deteriorating mental health and increased tension and problems between spouses, resulting in hidden forms of domestic violence, especially economic violence against women.
